A 12-month hybrid course offering in-person clinical study, real-time virtual classes, online learning and supervised internship experience. Ayurvedic Practitioner Course is a continuation of our first-year course, offering the highest level of ayurvedic education and training available outside India.

Ayurvedic Practitioner Course

Our Ayurvedic Practitioner Course includes:

  • Taught via a combination of Zoom (web conferencing) and in-person classes at our Florida classroom.
  • Classes held one weekend per month from 9am-6pm.
  • Students have access to online program as well as recorded weekend sessions.
  • Students have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge and gain clinical experience at a three-week program at a leading Ayurvedic treatment center in Southern India, where Ayurveda originated. -Fees not included in tuition.
  • Students completing the 2-year program will be awarded the practitioner-level – Associate of Vedic Studies degree in Ayurveda, and will be eligible for registration as an Ayurvedic Practitioner with the Association of Ayurvedic Professionals in North America.

AY 204: Ayurvedic Herbal Formulations.
AY 205: Ayurvedic Detoxification Therapy, Beauty Therapy and Marma Therapy II.
AY 206: Ayurvedic Protocols I – Respiratory & Digestive Systems.

AY 207: Ayurvedic Protocols II – Lymphatic, Blood & Skin Systems.  AY 208: Ayurvedic Protocols III – Muscular and Fat Metabolism Systems.
AY 209: Ayurvedic Protocols IV –Skeletal & Nervous Systems.
AY 210: Ayurvedic Protocols V – Reproductive System.
AY 211: Ayurvedic Protocols VI – Pediatric, Geriatric & Rejuvenative Protocols.
AY 212: Ayurvedic Protocols VII – Ear, Nose, Throat, Eye & Brain Protocols.

Prerequisites

  • Successful completion of Ayurvedic Health Counselor program.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Minimum of high school diploma or general equivalency diploma.
  • Fluent in verbal and written English or Spanish, depending on course.
  • Prerequisite/Co-requisite: 6 credits of college level Anatomy & Physiology or equivalent.
