Psychologist, L.M.T., PGDA, MBA, D. AYU is the Academic Director and co-owner of Sai Ayurvedic College. Born in Bogota, Colombia, she holds the degree in Psychology from the Universidad de Santo Tomas and practiced there as an Organizational Psychologist and Consultant as well as teaching corporate clients in Colombia and the USA a variety of disciplines including Stress Management, Development of Positive Thinking and Holistic Lifestyles. She also holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Human Resources Management and was later certified in Holistic Wellness Coaching, Personal Training, Fitness, Exercise Coaching, and Nutrition. She is also a Licensed Massage Therapist specializing in Structural Integration and CORE Myofascial Therapy. Magdala graduated from Sai Ayurvedic College as Doctor in Ayurveda and has her own practice focusing on Ayurvedic medicine.
Dr. Waldo Castro
MD, PGDA, Ayurvedic Life Coach, RM, FAAIM, holds degrees in Medicine from the National Autonomous University School of Medicine, Mexico. He is certified in Ayurvedic Health and Wellness Counseling and Life Coaching, an Ayurvedic Practitioner/Consultant. A Physician, advocate, as well as a Futurist and Independent Scholar in social sciences, human behavior and social advancement, he has helped others take charge of their life and attain balance, and self-realization through empowerment. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Ayurveda from SAI Ayurvedic College, a NAMA approved Institution. He is a Reiki Master in the Usui Lineage and a Fellow of the American Association of Integrative Medicine as well as a National Ayurvedic Medical Association (NAMA) professional member. He conducts integrative R&D and consulting in Ayurevdic products and resources for both physical and emotional well-being.
As a Social Entrepreneur, he developed SIMA, an integrative healthcare system for the uninsured in Mexico City, working closely with the Office of the Governor. Has collaborated with varied organizations internationally in diverse areas to promote a better life for individuals and communities and for social and economic advancement through empowerment, and the development of leadership skills. His consulting both personal and at the corporate level has been instrumental in the improvement of work environments and improved interpersonal relations and productivity.
BAMS, is the College’s senior faculty member. She has been a dedicated international Ayurvedic Specialist (Vaidya), consultant, and educator since 1990 and is a member of the Board of Directors, National Ayurvedic Medical Association (NAMA).
She studied Ayurvedic medicine at the University of Pune, faculty of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery. She was a Senior Lecturer at the College of Ayurveda in London, U.K. Bapat is the author of numerous articles on Ayurvedic medicine and related themes, has made multiple television appearances, and is one of the premiere lecturers, scholars and practitioners of Ayurveda in the West today. She is also on the faculty of the New Jersey Institute of Ayurveda, in Montclair, New Jersey.
William A. Courson
C.H., BVS (Ayu), D. Ayu is administrative director of and an instructor at the New Jersey Institute of Ayurveda, of which he is a graduate. A retired accountant with a background in journalism, he has been a lifelong student of and writer on the themes of traditional healing, alternative medicine, spirituality and eastern and western alchemy. In addition to his role as an Ayurvedic practitioner, he is a certified herbalist and Reiki Master in the traditional Usui lineage and has authored numerous professional and popular articles in these fields. He has taught professional level courses in all of these disciplines, and most recently trained aspiring physicians in Reiki at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) Medical School. Bill is active in a number of professional organizations, is a member of the National Ayurvedic Medical Association’s Educational Standards Committee and on the Indian Government sponsored Ayurveda-United States Advisory Council. Bill is also Sai Ayurvedic College’s Dean for Academic Affairs and Development.
Is a certified professional Ayurveda Wellness Counselor and Practitioner with the National Ayurvedic Medical Association. She is also a former graduate from the Sai Ayurvedic College and an E-500 RYT Yoga instructor with degrees in the US and India. Ana also has a journalism degree and has worked as TV and digital content producer. As a member of the IAYT (International Association of Yoga Therapists), Ana dedicates her life to teaching and promoting wellness and is the founder and CEO of BeeWellNews.com.
AD (CYT, CCHT, BSE) Doctor of Ayurveda, Founder, Vedic Health Inc, has been studying and practicing Ayurveda, Yoga and Hypnotherapy for over 20 years. She holds the degree Doctor of Ayurveda from Sai Ayurvedic College and a Bachelors Degree in Systems Engineering from University of Virginia. She is a certified Hatha Yoga Instructor from SVYASA Yoga Research University in Bangalore, and a certified Clinical Hypnotherapist from the Institute of Clinical and Ethical Hypnotherapy in Washington, DC. She founded Vedic Health Inc (nonprofit) in 2017 to offer affordable therapies in eastern medicine to the community. Amita currently practices and teaches in Rockville, MD and treats all kinds of cases that can benefit from natural therapies.
Is an Ayurvedic Practitioner and current Doctor of Ayurveda student at Sai Ayurvedic College. She completed her clinical internship at Vaidhyas Ayurvedic Hospital in Kannur, Kerala and is a professional member of the National Ayurvedic Medical Association. In her practice, Molly specializes in cases of digestive disorders, anxiety, depression, women’s health, and forms of addiction. She is currently writing her doctoral thesis on Ayurvedic integrations for modern-day Substance Use Disorder treatment. Molly’s background is in business administration, and she holds a degree in Marketing from West Virginia University. Prior to studying Ayurveda, she worked for 10 years in sales & management at a medical fitness center. During this time, she completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training which is what ultimately led her to the practice of Ayurveda. In addition to her passion for Vedic science and healing, Molly enjoys helping others with the business aspects of their practice and has served as a clinical advisor and business mentor for students.
Received her post-doc degree in Ayurveda at Sai Ayurvedic College. She has extensively studied Ayurvedic psychology, Inside Out Learning Ecosystem (OILEE). This system allows the individual to understand the structure that created their subjective experience. She frequently visits Kerala, India where she works closely with an Ayuvedic doctor. She obtains firsthand experience monitoring Ayuvrdic treatments given to patients as well as providing post-treatment follow ups. She also incorporates the key objectives of Ayurveda into her yoga curriculums. She teaches clients on maintaining a balance in the all the three dosha and has been doing so over 7 years. She is certified and teaches various modalities of yoga including hot-power, Vinyasa, and Hatha. Her diverse skill set allows her teaching methods to adapt to the students’ needs. Rebeca is a RYT 500 with over 800 hours of training. She currently resides in Brenham, Texas where she teaches yoga at A&M University. Before focusing on her Ayurvedic studies, she graduated with honors (summa cum laude) with a Masters degree in Social work from San Francisco State University, California with a minor in philosophy.
