Our Doctor of Ayurveda program is a 16-month hybrid course offering extensive, in-depth education, and relevant clinical experience in all eight branches of Ayurvedic medicine.  Graduates from this program will understand disease from an Ayurvedic perspective and will have a working knowledge of Western medical pathology, pharmacology, diagnoses, and treatment, sufficient to correlate with the practice of Ayurveda.

This program is a continuation of our second-year course, offering the highest level of ayurvedic education and training available outside India.

Our Doctor of Ayurveda program includes:

  • Combination of presential and online classes via Zoom.
  • Classes held every month during a complete weekend: Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm EST.
  • Development of comprehensive clinical cases supervised by our faculty.
  • Access to our Educational Platform which provides additional resources and guidance to complement your learning experience.
  • Students completing the third-year program will be awarded the distinction of Doctor of Ayurveda degree and will be eligible for professional registration with the Association of Ayurvedic Professionals in North America (AAPNA).
  • Students will have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge and gain clinical experience attending our three-week internship in India - fees not included in tuition.

  3. AY 303: Pharmacology & Drug Therapy.
  4. AY 304: Psychiatric & Graha Chikitsa Integration.
  5. AY 305: Microbiology, Infectious Diseases & Visha Chikitsa.
  6. AY 306: Systemic Pathology I & Kaya Chikitsa Integration.
  7. AY 307: Systemic Pathology II & Urdhvanga Chikitsa.
  8. AY 308: Introduction to Medical Vedic Astrology and Subtle Therapies in Ayurveda.
  9. AY 309: Marma Therapy.
  10. AY 310: Obstetrics/Gynecology, General Surgery, Shalya & Vajikarana Integration.
  11. AY 311: Pediatrics and Bala Chikitsa Integration.
  12. AY 312: Geriatrics and Rasayana Integration.
  13. AY 313: Public Health & Epidemiology/Research Methods in Ayurveda & Medicine.
  14. AY 314: Yoga Therapy for the Most Common Pathologies in US.
  15. AY 315: Management Planning Integration.
  • Successful completion of Ayurvedic Practitioner program (provide transcripts in case of transfer students)
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
